![]() ![]() Even though the POST request size limit is very large, filter expressions cannot be arbitrarily complex. With POST, the number of clauses in a filter is the limiting factor, not the size of the raw filter string since the request size limit for POST is approximately 16 MB. ![]() For these applications, HTTP POST is a better choice because it allows larger filters than GET. However, some applications produce very large queries, specifically when OData filter expressions are used. This length is usually enough for most applications. When called with GET, the length of the request URL cannot exceed 8 KB. In contrast with a Search Documents request, you might bind a Suggestions call to keyboard input, whereas a Search call might be bound to a click event. POST name]./indexes//docs/suggest?api-version= The Suggest request can be constructed using the GET or POST methods. To improve the structure of results, consider using the $select filter to return additional fields that provide more differentiation and context. If matching terms or phrases are identical across documents, the matching content is repeated. In contrast with Autocomplete, which returns a completed term or phrase used in a secondary query, this request returns information that resolves to actual documents. The response is a content from a matching document plus the document key. For example, if you enable suggestions on a city field, typing "sea" produces documents containing "Seattle", "Sea Tac", and "Seaside" (all actual city names) for that field. I’d buy it outright for a good price but if not, no thanks.A Suggestions request is a search-as-you-type query that looks for matching values in suggester-aware fields and returns documents that contain a match. Scaler, Progressions, Chordjam, LK, and Tonality work for me. May be harsh but honest and sometimes that’s how it’s gotta be □□♂️ bit of a shame as I think Suggester is a pretty good app, but $50 a year/$5-$6 a month? I don’t think so. Pure foolishness, sorry to be harsh, but it's true. No one wants 100 different app subscriptions and if the devs don’t see that it won’t work, well, idk what to tell them lol It’s one thing for a major DAW like Logic that offers an insane amount and will likely get new features added often and another for smaller apps that do 1-2 things. No one wants 100 different app subscriptions and if the devs don’t see that it won’t work, well, idk what to tell them said: As I mentioned elsewhere, devs who try to push the sub thing too hard will wither by the wayside and all the people worried that this is the start of everything music related going sub are being very naive / paranoid, imo I’d rather do the full unlock for the first one before spending that much. Scaler seems to do much more for less than half, even if Suggesters interface is a bit easier to manage. Kinda ludicrous if they actually stick to the $50 price point. Not sure what this is offering but hard to see many people going for that when scaler 2 is what…just $20? Same price as Logic Pro sub too? I have to imagine that one of the other options is maybe a 1-off purchase, looks to be around the 50 bucks range. That’s the only one that’s mentioned weirdly. If you look at the list of in app purchases it does mention a monthly subscription? ![]()
